Heidi’s paintings are driven by color, movement and an intuitive approach to making. Through layered brushwork, mark-making and unexpected color combinations, she creates work that feels spontaneous, energetic and distinctly her own.

The Artist

Heidi Becker is an artist and educator from the western suburbs of Chicago. She earned a BS in Art from Illinois State University and an MS in Art Education from Northern Illinois University.

Alongside her studio practice, Heidi has spent much of her career teaching art and encouraging creativity in others.
